CieLaroque/helene weinzierl

Three bodies move through space. They are isolated. In a continuum, they circle through their own inner worlds. Nothing and everything is happening at the same time. It happens between strength and exhaustion, speed and stasis, euphoria and despair. The language of movement becomes a ritual, a never-ending cycle. Even if the three worlds overlap, the connections of the bodies and their stories remain bumpy and trapped in their own cycles. Everything is real, and yet not concrete, because subjective perceptions are generated by the individual experience of an organism.

Will the story repeat itself over and over again, or can new realities only arise in the confrontation with their own patterns, as soon as they already have exceeded the point of sustainability?

Helene Weinzierl, born 1963 in Salzburg, educated in Paris, Munich and Salzburg. She founded CieLaroque, one of the most touring ensembles of the Austrian dance scene, in 1995.
