​Open Call for a residency at
tanz_house Studio Salzburg 

tanz_house invites artists from the field of contemporary dance with a focus on acrobatics to apply for an eight-day residency, during which, as a kick-off, so to speak, the foundation can be laid for a short piece lasting between 15 and a maximum of 30 minutes, which can be shown at the tanz_house Festival on 26 October.

Deadline: The application deadline is 24 December 2025.

Location: tanz_house studio at ARGEkultur, Ulrike-Gschwandtner-Straße 5, 5020 Salzburg

Period: 2 + 3 + 4 February, 3-9 p.m. + 5 February 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and 9 + 10 + 11 February, 3-9 p.m. + 12 February 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

tanz_house provides the following:
Dance studio
Simple rehearsal lighting
Studio sound system (PA)
Rehearsal fees, daily allowances and other costs cannot be covered.

Who can apply?
The residencies are exclusively for artists based in Salzburg who pursue innovative approaches in the fields of dance, theatre and new circus.

The application documents must be compiled in a single PDF file (max. 2 pages).
